Getting Started

How tracking, protocols, and dosing work

A plain-language map of peptides, vials, dose logs, protocols, and reminders so the app model clicks before you configure everything.

5 min read

PeptIQ separates inventory from schedules from history. Once you see those three layers, the rest of the UI makes more sense.

Not a prescription tool

PeptIQ does not prescribe peptides, set clinical doses, or replace a licensed clinician. Numbers you enter are your own records or figures you bring from a provider. Treat calculators and half-life views as organization aids, not medical advice.

Peptides and vials (inventory)

A peptide entry is the compound you care about. A vial (when you use injectables) holds strength and reconstitution details so unit math stays attached to that bottle. You can track research education without a vial. Add a vial when you want stock and reconstitution helpers.

My Peptides holds inventory and quick paths into logging.

Dose logs (history)

A dose log is a single event: what you took, how much, when, and optional context like injection site or notes. Logs feed Home, streaks, history, and anything that looks back at what you already did.

Protocols (schedules)

A protocol is the plan you intend to follow. Cadence, amounts, and which peptides belong together live here. When reminders are on, PeptIQ nudges you from that plan. Logging still writes history. Completing a reminder usually pre-fills a log so you are not retyping the same dose every day.

Protocol schedules and multi-peptide stacks
Protocols hold schedules and stacks you mean to follow.

How dosing fits in

  • You (or your clinician) decide dose amounts. PeptIQ stores and reminds; it does not invent a clinical protocol for you.
  • Reconstitution and unit calculators turn vial math into clearer numbers when you already know the target amount.
  • Half-life views estimate activity curves from published half-life figures and your logs. They are models, not lab measurements.
  • AI tools can draft or review structure for educational exploration. A human still decides what is appropriate for your situation.

Minimum useful setup

One peptide, one logged dose, and optionally one simple daily protocol is enough to see the core loop. Add vials, stacks, labs, and AI after that feels familiar.
