The existing NAD+ reconstitution guide walks 250–500 mg listings. Search still asks for NAD+ 1000 mg reconstitution and dosage. A 1 g cake is just a larger labeled mass. The formula does not change. The draw volumes do.

The formula

Concentration (mg/mL) = 1000 ÷ diluent mL

Volume (mL) = desired mg ÷ concentration

U-100: 1.0 mL = 100 units.

A 1000 mg vial with only 2.5 mL of water is 400 mg/mL. Small milligram steps become tiny unit marks and easy to misread. That is why educational write-ups for gram vials often discuss larger diluent volumes. It is a readability comment, not a recommended mix.

Dosage queries

Community NAD+ injection tables vary widely (tens to hundreds of milligrams, several days per week). Clinic IV regimens are a different route and a different risk set. Copying an infusion milligram onto a subcutaneous research cake is a category error.
